Bulb planting

The area referred to in Section 13 covers a flat grassed area  part of which was formerly laid out as a Paddling Pool.  This pool was filled in some years ago and the reclaimed area grassed over.  The intention is to instigate a comprehensive bulb planting programme to make the area more attractive particularly when viewed from the adjoining Road Bridge.  The expertise of the town gardeners will be tapped to ensure a variety of bulbs of all kinds will be selected allowing the maximum period of flower display to be achieved.
