Rotary Club of Thurso 

Members Meetings

The club meets at the Pentland Hotel every Thursday evening at 6 pm, generally in the function suite. The meetings last for approximately 1 hour where we have a 3 course meal (for the very reasonable price of £10.00 each) before conducting a few items of business. Most evenings, we also have a speaker to talk on some item of general interest to all members. 

When away from Thurso, every Rotarian has the right to attend the meeting of any other club and Rotarians may invite non-Rotarian guests to our own club meetings.

Once a month, immediately following the Club Council meeting (see below), the Thursday evening meeting takes the form of a Business meeting to discuss and agree forthcoming support, functions and actions in the community.

Council Meetings

On the second Monday, the Club Council meets to discuss all issues that affect the club and in particular, community support and fundraising.

Club Council members are generally the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Chairmen plus four other club members. For further details, see the Members page.

These meetings take place in the small guest room in the Pentland Hotel.

Committee Meetings

The three committees (Club, Community and International and Vocational - see the Members page) meet once a month to come up with the details of club activities and support for the forthcoming months. 

These meeting take place in member's houses.
