Iain is 'Boss'

Rotary Club of Thurso President, Iain Thomson (centre), is congratulated upon taking office by Past President Paul Hagan and watched by new Vice-President Bob Earnshaw (left).  Iain indicated that with 13 Past Presidents present he would soon be corrected if he made any error in his new duties!

The Club have been awarded the District 1010 award for the most successful membership drive in their Rotary District - well done Thurso.

ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD PRESENTATION BY PRESIDENT IAIN

Again in 2004 Rotary Club of Thurso sponsored two teenagers to participate in the RYLA scheme.  The chosen youngsters had a memorable time and reported on their experiences to the Thurso Club at the regular meeting on 21st October.  The picture above shows John Hook, International and Vocational Chairman, and Iain Thomson, Club President, handing over RYLA certificates to Ashley McBeath and Louis Morrill.

 

Iain's final Presidential duty - handing the chain of office to Bob Earnshaw.  In turn Bob welcomes his new Vice-President, Murray Campbell and new Junior Vice John Hook.
