Programme of Works

Much thought has been given to the question of Programming and while it will be appreciated that the selection of certain Work Sections will be dictated by the appropriate availability of funding the following tentative conclusions are presented for consideration.

It is felt that in order to maintain enthusiasm and purposefulness the overall programme should be laid out to cover the shortest period of time possible while still retaining a semblance of reality.  Accordingly a programme period of 5 years has emerged as realistic.  The outline of the programme is detailed below and is based on the Work Sections previously identified.  It should be noted that a number of activities extend over the 5 year period and in the case of Section 5, which is the renewal of the tree belt, an overall period of between 5 and 10 years is possible.
